Quick and easy granola anyone can make

I have been wanting to learn how to make granola for a while but haven't had the motivation to do so. I was reading Ana-Maria blog BluebirdKisses, which is a wonderful inspirational blog by the way and she has some awesome recipes, I decided to do a take on her Maple Granola with Blueberries
and Cocoa.

Granola is my one of my favorite sweet treats. And, I thought it would be cool to make it myself.
So, here's what I did:

Ingredients:
-3 Cup of rolled oats (I used quick oats that I had in the cabinets)
-1 Cup of Almonds
-1 Pecans (I chopped mine)
-1/2 Walnuts
-1/4 Chia Seeds
-1/2 Sunflower Seeds
-1 Cup Unsweetened Coconut
-2 Cup Raisins

-3/4 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
-3 Tablespoons Coconut Oil
-1/2 Cup of Honey

Preheat oven for 350 and spread baking sheet with Parchment paper.
Mix oats, almonds, pecans, walnuts, chia seeds, and sunflower seeds in a bowl.
In a saucepan on low heat melt coconut oil, then add maple syrup and honey. Stir together, once mixed turn stove off and and pour over dry mixture. Stir until oats and nuts are coated and then spread thin layer onto baking sheet.

Place in oven 15-25 minutes or until golden brown. Move mixture around every 5 minutes to make sure it doesn't burn. 5 minutes before taking the granola out of the oven add coconut and mix. Once you take the granola out add raisins. Let cool. Once granola has cooled pour into an air tight container.

Bon Apetit! Use this recipe as a base to try your own combinations and it only takes 10 minutes to make!

Happy NEW YEAR: 5 things I did to start the year off positive

Happy New Year!

This year like every year, I am trying to be even more positive and reach as many goals as I can. But, to do this I decided to do something different.

So, for the first week of the new year I will be:
1. Cleaning and decluttering my house
2. Saging
3. Working out and meal prepping on January 1st.
4. Filling out the first month of my planner
5. Giving myself a break

I wanted to start this year off with good energy and vibes so I spent most of Monday and Tuesday cleaning and decluttering my house. And, I'll probably finish up this weekend and complete the process with sage. It's something I have never tried before but I thought this was a way to start of fresh and be open and mindful of the year to come.

I have been so hard on myself in the past, I have realized I have spent so much time living in the clouds I am missing out on completing the goals I have been trying to accomplish for at least five years. I read Instagram and the blogs and watching other influencers complete their goals while inspiring gives me a false interpretation of what my life goals will look like.

I spent way too much time looking at other people complete their goals instead of motivation to complete my goals. So, I'm starting today. With my first post, my first weigh in , my first workout, and my first pep talk. No more resolutions needed just work. Action on my part.

I even started the week of right by purchasing my planner, which is bomb from CREATE&CULTIVATE,  so instead procrastinating, I have everything I am going to accomplish written down and now its in the universe. And, you will be seeing way more of me this year. Now that I finally got my shit together.

What are you trying to do 2020? Are we traveling, starting businesses? What?
